Your first bid, step by step.

A practical OutBragger guide to choosing your name, making a Bitcoin bid, checking fees, saving your private code and getting payment support.

1. Choose your public name and message.

On the leaderboard, tap “Make a bid” (or click the button right here!).

Make a bid

Enter a name or nickname between 2 and 32 characters. Choose whether people can discuss your bid.

Example

Add an optional message of up to 280 characters.

Example

Press “Next: your bid”.

2. Choose an amount and a coin.

Enter an amount using one of the displayed currencies. The projected position is an estimate based on the board at that moment; it is not a reserved position.

You can pay using Bitcoin (BTC).

One thing to be aware of: the displayed fiat equivalent is approximate.

3. Review your bid.

Check the public name, message, amount, coin and payment rules before continuing. Decide whether to count the verified network fee towards your bid too.

4. Save your private code. (Important!)

The public reference opens a shareable bid page. Your private code has a different purpose: it proves control of the bid when you need support or use available bidder controls. Save it privately; we cannot recover it for you. Never put it in a public message or share your wallet recovery phrase or private keys.

Save it somewhere private. You will need it to prove this bid is yours.

5. Pay from your wallet.

Keep your private checkout open. On the same device, “Open wallet to pay” can open a compatible wallet. Review the request and confirm the transfer in the wallet. Opening the link alone does not send money.

This example QR code opens the guide. Your checkout will show your payment QR code.

On another device, open your wallet, choose Send, then Scan, and scan the checkout QR code. You can also copy the address and amount. Check the exact amount, destination, selected network and expiry before sending. Send the coin shown in that checkout; another coin, token or unsupported network will not work.

6. Wait for confirmation.

Your wallet sending a transaction is not the same as the site confirming a bid. The payment must be verified and archived before publication. Keep the checkout open or return in the same browser. Do not pay again simply because confirmation takes time.

Keep your checkout open. Please do not pay again.

“Cancel unpaid bid” lets you leave an unpaid checkout; it cannot reverse a transfer. If you have already sent funds, retain the transaction details and wait for confirmation or contact support.

7. Share your public page.

After confirmation, share the public receipt link. Your final credited value remains fixed; later cryptocurrency price changes do not reorder it. Someone else can overtake you, and being overtaken does not automatically refund your payment.

If something goes wrong.

Underpayments, late payments and excess payments may need review. You cannot “top up a bid” to increase the bid. Email support@outbragger.com with your public bid reference, coin, amount and transaction ID. Use private bid verification on the contact page when proof of ownership is needed.

Refunds are reviewed after ownership, the payment and the destination have been checked. For cancellation or refund requests, contact support. The full payment rules describe the process and applicable consumer rights.
